I’m a screenwriter, essayist, and playwright, but my favorite kind of writing is where I write and you are wildly entertained.

A graduate of The Theatre School at DePaul’s Playwriting program, I co-founded Sansculottes Theater Company to produce only new work, which was hailed by the Chicago Tribune, Sun-Times, and more. I moved to New York City and started another theater company, where I wrote and produced new work, winning awards as part of the New York and Philly Fringe Festivals. I moved to Los Angeles and promised not to start another theater company.

I haven’t... yet.

I did build a fabulous community and have written for Parcast’s Unsolved Mysteries true crime podcast, attended Sundance Film Festival as part of the Talent Forum, and won Best Scriptwriter at the La Femme International Short Film Festival, where a multinational cohort blew me away with their talent.

A happy collaborator, I write about “the full catastrophe” of living... the highs and lows, light and dark of being human. As long as we can have fun while doing it. Most of my protagonists are women on the rocky journey to becoming themselves, finally.

Ask me about hitchhiking across London, deejaying in New York City, and finding friendship with my dad when he could no longer speak.
